Brightwork Health IT (Brightwork), an IT consultancy that helps healthcare organizations with large IT implementations, digital transformation initiatives, and technical resources, has announced that Eliza Corrigan has joined the firm as Chief Sales Officer. In the newly created role, Corrigan will oversee the development and execution of Brightwork’s sales strategy and organizational growth.
“As Brightwork continues to gain traction as the IT consultancy of choice for leading healthcare organizations, we knew we needed someone with deep domain experience in healthcare, software and IT services to lead our sales team,” said Shannan Epps, President and CEO of Brightwork Health IT. “Healthcare IT is an extremely complicated and nuanced space, and there are few sales leaders with the qualifications and experience that Eliza has. She will play a vital role as we expand our services and scale our operations. We are incredibly excited to have her as our first chief sales officer.”
For more than 15 years, Corrigan has directed and consulted on large-scale healthcare IT projects throughout the United States, Europe and the United Kingdom. Her experience in supporting healthcare organizations and those they serve ranges from technical expertise and project management for EHR implementations to account management, executive engagement, and sales leadership. Before joining Brightwork, Corrigan served as Head of Client Services at Tasman Global. She joined the company 1 year prior to its acquisition by Nordic Consulting Partners, where she spent nearly seven years helping the company become the world’s largest Epic consulting practice.
With Eliza’s appointment as Chief Sales Officer, Brightwork has also formally established its sales division. Building from the strong foundation of sales roles and functions already existing within the company, Corrigan’s initial focus will be on nurturing lasting client relationships, improving overall service delivery, and building a high-performing team that maintains a work-life balance.
Highlighting her unique skill set and experience, Epps added, “It’s rare to find someone that truly understands how technologies like EHRs work, and that can both lead a team and manage the sales process.”
Originally from the St. Paul, Minnesota area and now based in Denver, Colorado, Corrigan also has strong ties to her partner’s native Ireland. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Wartburg College and holds multiple Epic certifications. When she’s not at work or traveling, she enjoys exploring the great outdoors, fitness, a good book, and a warm cup of coffee.
“I’m honored to be appointed to this new role with Brightwork,” said Eliza Corrigan, Chief Sales Officer at Brightwork Health IT. “Digital transformation continues to be a top priority for healthcare organizations and Brightwork has established a tremendous track record of providing solutions and services to some of the most complex organizations in the country. I’m thrilled to begin working with our existing team and expand it with additional experts to provide compelling solutions that address our client’s challenges.”
