New title: CEO of Roche Diagnostics
Previous title: CEO of Roche Diagnostics’ North America Region
Sause will become CEO of Roche Diagnostics starting on Jan. 1 of next year, as part of a broader leadership shakeup at the company. He will take the place of Thomas Schinecker, the current diagnostics head, who will become CEO of the company in March.
“Matt Sause’s career at Roche has spanned twenty years in multiple countries across Asia, Latin America, Europe and North America in both the Diagnostics and Pharma divisions,” Schinecker said in a press release. “His combination of scientific knowledge with commercial experience makes him an excellent leader for the Diagnostics division.”
Sause started working for Roche in 2002 working across the company’s diagnostic and pharmaceutical divisions. He moved to Genentech in 2018, before coming back to the company in 2019 as CEO of Roche Diagnostics’ North America business.
